The Helping Hand

Golden retriever mom, easy going, silent leader, passionate to help others, and cheese connoisseur.

I grew up in Frisco, Colorado as a very outdoorsy person; skiing, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, boating, surfing, you name it! I chose to go to college at University of Alaska Anchorage to ski for their NCAA division one ski team. I majored in physical education, health, and recreation with my goal to become a recreation therapist. After school, there was too much of Alaska left to explore, and I have put down roots in the great state of Alaska! I worked with Team Ineka and Alaska Dog Works as a handler and puppy raiser. I love all things outdoors with my family, friends, and my dog, Hank. I currently work as a recreation therapist at the Alaska Psychiatric Institute. Through my outdoor experiences that required grit, team-building that required me to be empathetic, and helping people in crisis that required me to be calm and grounding; I can help you and your team reach your fullest potential through communication, leadership, and team-building.
